Texas Pecan Pie

1 single crust pastry for bottom of the pie

3 eggs

3 tbsp all purpose flour

1 cup chopped pecans

2/3 cup of light corn syrup

2/3 cup of dark corn syrup

½ cup of brown sugar

1 tsp  Villa Vainilla Pure Mexican Vanilla Extract

½ tsp white vinegar

 

In a bowl mix the eggs, flour, corn syrups, sugar, vinegar and vanilla. When the mix is smooth add the pecans and stir until evenly distributed. 

Butter a pie dish and place the pastry. Pour the mix into the pastry and cover with foil.

Bake at 350 ° F for 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 25 minutes or until a pick comes out clean. Let cool at least 10 minutes before serving
